Executive Suite for Attorney Available to Rent in Venice Florida

This article is different from my typical educational resources for prospective clients. This one is a little more self serving, but I have connected with so many great people through this blog over the years, that I figured that it would not hurt to write about this topic.

Are you an attorney looking to establish a solo law practice in Venice, Florida?

Maybe you are an out of state lawyer, looking to pass the Florida Bar exam and practice in Florida. Maybe you are part of a larger firm in Sarasota (or elsewhere) that’s looking to establish a presence in Venice. Maybe you are an established lawyer that has the entrepreneurial itch to start your own practice, or maybe you are a recent law school graduate that has decided to open their own law practice right out of law school like I did.

The Snyder Law Building

Regardless, if you are an attorney looking for space, then I invite you to consider the Snyder Law Building in beautiful downtown Venice, Florida. The Snyder Law Building offers turn key executive suites for lawyers. We currently have a couple of offices available and ready to go. Included in the rent is a receptionist (at both the front desk and answering the phones), use of multiple conference rooms, a commercial copier, phone, internet, a kitchen, furnished office space and a friendly and collegial work environment where you will be around other local attorneys who regularly pass referrals to each other and “talk shop”. We are on the main street in downtown Venice, situated among all the shops and restaurants, less than a mile from the beach, and 10 minutes away from the new South County Courthouse.

I found my way to the Snyder Law Building back in 2012. I was a brand new lawyer and recently passed the bar exam. I ended up meeting Russ Snyder, a lawyer who started practicing law in Venice in 1974. I was looking for a job, but Russ had something better for me: the opportunity to start my own law practice. I took him up on that offer, got my first client on my first day of being open for business, and now almost 15 years later I can say taking Russ up on his offer was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Russ offered me more than space. He offered his friendship, referrals, and mentorship. I learned a lot of what I know from Russ, and could not have done this without him. I’m willing to do the same thing for a young lawyer that is interested in starting their own practice straight out of school, or help a more experienced attorney get established.

Right now we have a really good group of lawyers in the building, handling a variety of transactional and litigation matters, but with the recent retirement of Pat Reilly we have some space that has opened up. We would love to welcome another attorney into the building.

Venice has been a wonderful place to start a law practice. The clients, lawyers, and Judges have been great to work with. It wasn’t easy, but I’ve been proud to build my practice and reputation here and believe South Sarasota County is an amazing legal market.

If you are a lawyer looking to hang a shingle or establish a satellite office in Venice, then I invite you to contact me directly to discuss joining us at the Snyder Law Building.
