The majority of my practice is litigation, but I also work on select transactional matters including small business transactions, trademark applications, and basic estate planning. I am a naturally curious person, and enjoy a variety of practice areas, but the common thread is serving my clients efficiently and effectively with a personal touch.
I am proponent of early mediation and alternative dispute resolution, especially in the context of a divorce. This means that I keep the focus of your legal matter on the solution rather than the problem. This practical approach to solving legal problems allows me to resolve cases without litigation when possible. This saves my clients time, money, and stress. However, when negotiations fail the legal system remains at our disposal. As a trial lawyer I make full use of the courts if that is what the situation requires.
